How the time flies!!

This is why it has taken me so long to post!! My grandbabies were here for a week and I spent every spare minute with them!! I couldn't believe how much little Ellery had grown in three weeks! She is such a sweetie! Of course so is her big brother! A is a real sweet big brother. He loves to cuddle his sister, at least until we get the camera out, then he is gone!! T & E went out while they were here and I got to babysit the little ones. Wow! That was a trip. I had them overnight and of course was afraid I wouldn't wake up with the little one. So I didn't get much sleep even though she actually did really well! It is funny how with your own little ones you are so use to it that you can sleep and you hear them with no problem, but watch someone else's and it is a different story!! Anyway, I really enjoyed having the opportunity to be with my little grandchildren. Funny thing is I really don't feel old enough to be a grandma yet. Maybe it is because of my wonderful four year old son!!!

Jeremiah is wonderful. He loved having everyone here too. He likes playing with A and absolutely loves holding and cuddling Ely. These pictures were actually taken when we were at Tawny's. I will post the more recent ones next time.

Life has been pretty busy all in all. I am taking care of three little girls and it is time for me to start working with J and one of the girls to get them ready for school next year. I am going to set aside time each day to work with them on letters, numbers, colors, etc. J actually knows all of these but he needs to learn to write them. He can even read simple words as he has learned to sound words out. I am totally impressed with how he is doing, but he doesn't like to write so I have to figure out a way of making it fun! The one little girl is a bit behind him but hopefully I can be patient and a good teacher for her. One of the girls is 4, one is 5 and one is 8. The five year old is in Kindergarten every other day. I am working with her on writing her name. The eight year old is in third grade and is a sweet girl. I guess really they are all pretty sweet but the younger ones push against the rules quite a bit. Feel sorry for their parents when they get a little older. LOL. Girls can be so much fun!!
Well I suppose I better get in gear. I already got my Biblestuding done and checked email and such. So now I need to get busy with the other chores of the day. James should be out soon for breakfast and then we'll be off and running!!! I have to get ready for my crop that I am holding tomorrow and also we are having company for supper tonight so have to prepare for that!!
Well have a great day and keep smiling!!
