So much time gone by...

Where has the time gone? So much has happened in the last month I'm not sure I can remember it all. So I will just hit the high lights. The beginning of May flew by and then came the time for my daughter and her family to visit. I was so excited to see all of them and then I got a surprise....my son, Levi, and his new bride came with. They only stayed a few days, just long enough to rent a U-haul and dollie to take their things back with them, but it was wonderful to see them both. Then Tawny and family stayed for a week of relaxing fun. I only had to work three days so spent lots of time with the Grand babies. My how they have grown!! Uncle Jeremiah had fun with his niece and nephew. He and Aidyn are only 3 years apart so they had lots of fun. Ely has definitely got Papa James and Uncle Jeremiah wrapped around her little finger. We all had good visits, played games and seemed to eat constantly. Then it was time for them to go back all too soon. Every time they come I find myself thinking how blessed we are that Tawny and Evan got married. He is a wonderful husband and daddy. I love watching him with the little ones. It was a teary goodbye and then a long trip home. I will miss them daily but feel so lucky to be able to see them via Internet and the many pictures Tawny sends me on the cell phone!!!
The last week of school was a bit hectic, but otherwise great. Jeremiah is officially a first grader and very excited about having the summer off. We have great plans on what we want to do this summer including trips to the water park and zoo, and going roller skating. The weather hasn't been very nice so we haven't been able to go to the water park yet but I'm sure it will warm up enough soon so we can. Roller skating is high on the list and we are planning it with lots of friends and family. Hopefully in the next week or two.
We get to go branding out at my Dad's on Father's Day. Should be a fun and wild day as always. The kids and adults get right in there with the roping, and throwing of calves. It really is a blast.
My MIL and I have been working together on our yards for the past week. We have bought flowers, pots and soil and have been working tirelessly (ok that is pushing it) but we have had so much fun in the process. She has TONS of pots with bright colors flowing out. Her favorite is the pansies. There are so many different varieties and the are all so pretty. In my yard we have potted many and also made some new flowerbeds. I am so excited to see it when it is done. I love what we have already done so finishing will be exciting. Then it will be on to the next project which is painting the kitchen. I think I will do a before and after thing with that, because I am really changing things.
Well I think that about catches things up. I know I didn't say much about J, J, B or me but that leaves me something to talk about next time.
See ya!!
