Today was a great day! I ran quick this morning with my mom and then came home to get some stuff done. Or so I thought.. I did run with mom but when I came home, I called my little sis and talked her into going shopping. We both had some Christmas money, so we decided to go to the Mall. We spent 4 or 5 hours there shopping some really good sales. I love good sales! I bought a shirt for $1.77 that is really cute. We found a lot of other good deals but none that I couldn't live without. Think I'll go again another day when I have more time. LOL.
When we got back to my house, I had an awesome surprise waiting for me! My step-son Joe was here to visit. He has been over in Iraq for about a year and just recently came back to the states. So it was wonderful to see him and get to visit with him. He had lots to share with us. We surprised my mom by having her bring the boys (Jeremiah and his cousin Ethan) home. She didn't have a clue Joe was here until she walked in the door. That was priceless. So he got to see Becky and her husband Chris, their son Ethan, Grandma Nita (my mom), my sons Levi and Jeremiah, James and me, and a friend of my mom's Wilma. So that was pretty cool. He may get to stop again in a few days but wasn't sure as he has so many to see while he is here. It was just really great to see him!
